Eclipse Technique Father’s Day Card..     

  CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

Hello Crafters, 

At the weekend I happened across a challenge blog, called CAS-ual Fridays and since I am aiming to get more consistent with my blogging I thought I would play along, with their challenge this week called CFC#201 Boys of Summer you can join in HERE.

I thought I would enter the card I made for My Dad for Father’s Day.  I used the fab Stampin up! Lilypad Lake Stamp Set (146496) and used the same technique as this card HERE .

Using the Blueberry Bushel ink pad I gave the bottom half of the card mat a watercolour wash, onto Shimmery White Card and then stamped the squiggly lines from the same ink pad.

I used the Eclipse Technique for the word Dad using the Large Letter Thinlits dies, adhering with dimensionals and then cut out using the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies the wordAmazing in Gold Mirri card, and You in Shimmery White, and then I adhered this to Blueberry Bushel Card Stock.

Linen Thread and a scatter of Sequins finish the card off perfectly.
