Oh my lordy how hot was it today and still is here!! Me and stan went over the Park late this morning 11 am, and boy even in the wodos it were warm after 30 mins we both had enough and buggered off home….

Last night we had a blast over on the Stamp with us online summer classes, Monica set us all a challenge to make a card using the following colours, Mustard, Lilac and one other but not a neutral colour and with these colours we had to make own own designer papers…

I had to improvise, as i didnt have lilac so used perfect plum, no mustard so used really rust, and my other colour was close to cocoa, I didnt have perfect plum cardstock so distress white cardstock with perfect plum ink pad a dauber to match the colours, I used Seeing spots stamp set to make the designer paper, the sentiment is from the big bold birthday set, the chipboard oval was from craftworkcards, and i inked that up with perfect plum ink pad, and the star is using the star punch, all items are STAMPIN UP apart from the chipboard…

I was rather chuffed with my effort considering we have less than an hour to complete this task including uploading it to the forum, when the flaming broadband went down, so I missed out on any chance of winning one of the prizes, Monica’s husband was judging the cards and thats why I chose a fairly manish design!! Load of good that done me..lol

Still am pleased with the results and another creation to my Stampin up box!! so all not in vain…

would ya likes to see it!!

there still time to join in , why don’t you its fab with superb classes going on… and fabulous tutorials to help you all the way!
