She believed she could, so she did!!    Sooooo true of this weekend!!   I had a fabulous girly weekend away at the Stampin Up Telford Regional training event!!   It just so happened to correspond with my Birthday, and WOW didnt my lovely friends lay on the most fabulous evening I have had in a VERY longtime!!   I was thoroughly spoilt, with lots of pressie and handmade birthday card to which I shall show you later this week!  So Thankyou to Natalie, Zoe and Pip for organising my special treat!!

Following Friday nights antics we had a day of training , WOW WOW WOW thats all I can say, If it wasn’t great enough to come home with loads of Orla Kiely and Liz Earle pressies from my wonderful friends, Saturday just continued the excitement of whats to come in the VERY near future!!  As well as catching up with other wonderful demos I have gotten to know during my Stampin Up reign, we craft, we see demos and share fairs from other demo’s win prizes to which my lovely friend Mrs wonka aka Zoe  won a free entry ticket to this years Stampin Up convention worth £150, we get a sneak preview of whats to come, and WOW have we got some special stuff coming our way in the next month or so!! BUT I can’t share I am afraid, that’s one of the bonus’ of being a demo, seeing and getting to know what’s coming in the new catty and other exciting stuff…

For now though I would like to share my name badge and matching swaps I made, we got asked again this training to make our own badges using our own creativity!!    And this is where the feel goods stamp set comes into play, I had NO time at all to make the things I wanted to, I wanted to make a little gift for my downline, my upline and two of my sidelines… To thank them for their support and to see the looks on their faces when I gave them what I created!!

I had no time, BUT  I believed I could SO I made sure I did!!…   Using  Stampin Up’s Feel Goods stamp set, and the beautiful new Butterfly Punches all from our Spring catty, and some papers from our annual catty, and the Oval accent bigz clear die, I set about to making my creations, with the help of my downline Sarah Lower in our hotel room after our shenanigans of the birthday dinner!!  I wanted the butterflies to be dangly  not just stuck on, I wanted to give  movement,  a little wow on an otherwise simple card….

The colourways I chose were funky and bright, I used Rich Razzelberry and Old Olive!! and of course a bit of Bling!!

Well thats enough from me for now, do pop by soon , I have more to share with you!!
