Hello there!

What a lovely day after yesterday’s rotten weather,

A day late apologies for that, been very busy week ,  we had our all day spring event on Saturday and Sunday was spent at the cemetery to visit my sisters grave,

Now she was 5 when she was killed and we have a lovely stone for her and my mum made some beautiful troughs with a plant in to sit on the stone the last time we were there a couple of weeks back, and when we returned yesterday someone  had pulled out the plant dumped and dumped it on the stone and pinched the trough, now what is that all about, well mum had bought three of these from poundland and they had a particular pattern on them and had put one on each of my nans grave, my cousin and my sisters,

So off we went in search for the trough only to find it a couple of rows back on a grave that had  a stone but been newly dug and full to the brim with wreaths, and there sitting on the stone complete with the peat that the plant was in, and a hole where the plant had sat in it still, ….  Rather upsetting to say the least , to pinch from anyones grave is bad enough but to pinch from a child’s one, well beyond me I have to say..

Well the daffodils mum planted around the grave was in full bloom and looked beautiful just as my sister was….

So when I came home I set about making some thank you cards gift sets, using the Petal Potpourri set from Stampin Up  to make some daffodil looking images, when I finished I realised that the colour way was this weeks colour challenge #ctd339  #colorthrowdown over at Colour throw down challenge blogHERE,

Peculiar where one gets ones inspiration from ain’t it.

I used the the box measurements from my friend and team member Linda Kaspairian’s gorgeous card and gifts sets she makes, you can visit Linda HERE
