Trick or Tweet with Spooky Sweets!

It’s the last Saturday of the month (wow that month went fast) and that means it’s Stampin creative Blog Hop Time.

We have two fabulously talented ladies joining us in a guest spot this month, The lovely Deborah Carder and Elizabeth Price, I am sure they will inspire you loads today.

The theme here at Stampin Creative this month is favourite of the season, Though I love all things Christmas, I have to say I do love a cute halloween Stamp set too!

I wasn’t blessed with children myself, but I still like to make cute treat projects for this Occassion, and today’s project was made in mind for a neighbours little boy, who I am sure is going to love it!

I have used two stamp sets that I feel go hand in hand with each other, Trick or Tweet and Spooky Sweets. Firstly I stamped the Elephant from the Trick or Tweet Stamp set,  I just love the elephant they are just such gentle souls but they like to have fun too I found when I went on the Stampin Up Incentive trip to Thailand last year. So I just couldn’t resist using the image.

I coloured him using the stampin Blends all the products I used are at the bottom of this post.

I decided to make use of the Gable Boxes we sell in our catalogue, it made it simple and easy and packs a wow too!

Whilst flat I stamped the box using the hazy image with Basic Grey Ink Pads inking once and stampin off onto the grid paper which you can purchase from the catalogue, before stamping on the box, giving a lighter effect of colouring,  The bats were inking once and stamping that inked image twice onto the box getting a dark and light stamped image, I love that effect. With images are from the Spooky Treats Stamp Set.

I then stamped the Star from the same set using the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad, again inking once and stamping twice.

I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink added some Stars and punched using the 1 1/4 inch Circle Punch. before attaching the sentiment I tied using Silver Thread the Cute Spider embellishment from Spider Trinkets, soooo cute, and then added the sentiment on top using dimensionals,  I then filled with sweeties and wrapped Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon Around and tied in a bow, Attached the elephant once I had fussy cut him by hand to the front. and finished with rhinestones for a bit of sparkle..

Look at the elephant trying to suck the spider up in his trunk, But little spider is too quick and is teasing him somewhat!!

I hope you loved my Spooky Treat, Please do hop along to the next blog for some more favourites of the Season. I am sure you in for a real Treat!
