Hello welcome to Simple Stamping Sunday,

This week I am using the Fancy Phrases  Stamp Set again, I have made what is called a Monochromatic style card, for those new to card making this is a tone on tone card, using different shades of the same colour.

Here is a definition of monochromatic,

Monochrome means the presentation of a single colour in different shades. This just means that a single colour is depicted in different values and intensities. The colour remains the same but the elements that differ are the brightness, lightness, darkness or dullness of the colour.

I have used Magenta Madness Stampin Blends to colour the flowers , but decided to leave the leaves uncoloured making those flowers pop with colour!

I have used dimensionals to layer up the sentiment, and finished with In Colour Enamel Dots.

Card Recipe:

  • From a piece of A4 sheet of White Card Stock make a Card Blank measuring 14.8cm x 21cm  (you will get two card blanks from one A4 sheet. Fold in half.
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White at 12cm x 8cm
  • Cut a piece of Magenta Madness Card Stock 12.3cm x 8.3cm
  • Enamel Dots

I hope you enjoyed my simple stamping project and look forward to sharing more  simple projects next Sunday.
