Hello there,

Today I want to share a card I made for the Global Design Project Challenge here, #GDP274 and this week the challenge is a sketch challenge.

Here is the sketch from Global Design Project.

I loved the Ombre effect element of the sketch so I decided to make my own Ombre background using different shades of yellow and our new fabulous Blending Brushes, These are a real must in your stash and so so easy to use. I made this card in my Watch Me Wednesday Facebook Live this week so you can see how I made this card HERE

I used four different shades of Yellow just so the Facebook live wasn’t too long, but you can use just two and deepen the colour with each blending as you go along. The Layer measurements are Basic Black 8.3cm x 12.3cm, Shimmery White or Whisper White 8cm x 12cm. Card blank is A4 cut in half vertically at 10.5cm and the scored on the longer side at 14.8cm.

I used the Playful Alphabet Dies for the Hello and the fabulous comes from the same stamp set as the Perfume and Lipstick, The Flower comes from the gorgeous new True Love Designer Series Papers in the Jan – June Catalogue.

I used Stampin Blends to colour the Images that I stamped in Memento Ink, added some water splashes and Frost White Shimmer paint to the blending background and finished with Basic Jewel Rhinestones.
